Me: Hello, I’m Marianna Cecere. As you can see from my photos, I’m not a professional photographer. I work for Italian videogames magazine PlayGeneration, and I took up photography because it’s fun, it’s creative and… well, because it has nothing to do with my job. My other interests include videogames, books, writing and daydreaming. I have a cat, and while he is an evil little opportunist, I love him dearly.

My gear: Nothing special, really. A Canon EOS 450D (Digital Rebel XSI, if you’re from the US), the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens that came with it, a cheap (but very effective) EF 50mm f/1.8 lens and a second-hand EF 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS USM.

My goal: To improve the quality of my photos. To see things in a different way. To learn something new. And, most importantly, to have fun with my camera.
