I spent eight days in Sydney, Australia during my summer holidays last month. And I came back with a few photos, mostly from Taronga zoo. I’ve been fiddling all night trying to post them as a gallery here but I can’t seem to figure out how gallery plugins work, so I just posted my favourite photo. You can find the rest here on Flickr.

Note: I’m afraid I’ll have to interrupt my 365 project. I’m trying to finish my studies and I have an extremely busy schedule for the next months, and that means I’m forced to devote a lot less time to photography. This site will become… no, *has* become a regular photoblog, where I’ll post images and notes from my incredibly exciting and eventful (sort of) life.

Note #2: I’ve changed the site’s theme and started using YAPB, a nifty plugin for photoblogs. I’m still working on it though, and I’ll have to edit all the posts to make sure the images are displayed properly. Also, the logo up there is temporary. If you have any suggestions (about the site, YAPB and the STUPID gallery plugins), please let me know in the comments. Thank you!

It’s been a crazy month. I’m in the middle of a deadline, studying for an exam and getting ready for a holiday abroad. I don’t even have the time to breathe.
But I still took five seconds to look at the moon outside.

I was about to go to bed, when I noticed something on the ceiling.
You’re lucky I don’t kill innocuous creatures, Mr. Spider, and I just caught you on my broom and threw you out. And you’re lucky the cat can’t jump that high.
But come back, and there will be no mercy.

Day 189: Puffy clouds

The clouds at sunset were beautiful. I made several attempts with several exposure/white balance settings, but I don’t think I managed to capture what they looked like. This is the best one I got, but still not good enough.
Oh well, at least I got to experiment with white balance.

Day 187: Gold and copper

I had my hair bleached on my forehead this time, with the rest dyed in a nice shade of orange. Someone I know said my hair looks like a gradient.
